Michael has been in the security field for over 30 years. He spent seven years in the US Air Force defending global networks from attacks and the last 25 years at Cisco. After leaving service, he spent seven years with Cisco Advanced Services performing penetration and ethical hacking exercises for Cisco customers. In his Cisco career, he coauthored Cisco courseware on ASA and spent many years testing and certifying products for Cisco at DISA/JITC and Army ISEC labs before moving into a solutions engineering role focused on Security Products within DOD space. He’s supported Army, Navy and Air Force customers during his time as a solutions engineering. In his current role, he supports Federal, State, Local, and Education customer across Cisco US Public Sector team focusing on security solution sales.
