GovSummit 2026 will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM at the Marriott Marquis Washington, DC. Splunk University will be held the day before, on April 7, 2026. Please plan to arrive early to account for traffic.
No, we will not be offering GovSummit virtually. This will be an in-person event only. The keynote will be recorded and made available on splunk.com post event.
The main GovSummit program is geared towards IT Ops, SecOps and engineering professionals working for Federal, State & local governments and higher education organizations located in our AMER region.
There is not a registration fee to attend GovSummit 2026.
Please note the current approximate value (ARV) of attendance is as follows:
- Continental Breakfast: $62.56
- Morning Break: $46.50
- Lunch: $111.85
- Afternoon Break: $46.50
- Reception: $93.05
*ARV is as of January 2026. Includes taxes and fees. Prices are subject to change.
The session scheduler will be available starting February 17, 2026.
If you are already registered, log in to the GovSummit website with your credentials to create your personal schedule after February 17.
If you have not registered yet, you can select your sessions once you complete your registration and the scheduler is live.
Once you complete your GovSummit 2026 registration, you will have the option to register for Splunk University from the confirmation page. Please note that you must register for GovSummit before you can sign up for Splunk University.
Payment is also required via training units (TUs) or credit card. The course fee is $500 or 50 TUs. If you choose to pay with TUs, the Splunk Education Team will review your submitted TU information and confirm your registration for Splunk University once it is approved.
Please bring your own device that is able to connect to the internet to participate. You’ll receive more detailed instructions on your participation closer to the event date.
Once you complete your GovSummit 2026 registration, you will have the option to register for BOTS from the confirmation page. Please note that you must register for GovSummit before you can sign up for BOTS.

Sponsorships are limited due to space constraints. You must be an existing Splunk partner in good standing to be considered as an event sponsor.
